Sergeant First Class Balázs Viniczai serves with the Székesfehévár-based Deployable CIS Module (DCM-E), a subordinate unit assigned to the 3rd NATO Signal Battalion (3NSB).
He has been serving in the ranks of the Hungarian Defence Forces for 22 years: after graduating from the Central NCO Training School, he started his military service as a radio station technician with the former HDF 12th Arrabona Surface-to-Air Missile Brigade in Győr. Since 2003, he has been serving again in his hometown, Székesfehérvár.
The Székesfehérvár soldier has already completed four tours of duty abroad: three times in the Balkans and once in Turkey in individual positions. The sergeant first class is proud of being able to perform his tasks as an assistant and support NCO in his job.
It fills him with pleasure to know that his superiors have provided significant assistance for his selection as a recipient of the award, and is also grateful to the previous leaders of the DCM-E for having started him out on this path.
