Hungary is an important and valuable member of NATO

More than 40 heads of state and government, leaders of the institutions of the European Union, the Council of Europe, as well as the NATO Secretary General and representatives of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) are attending the European Political Community Summit in Hungary.

With the participation of Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky and General Dr. Gábor Böröndi, Chief of HDF General Staff, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held a bilateral discussion with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the venue of the European Political Community Summit in Budapest.

During the discussion, they reviewed the cooperation between Hungary and NATO and concluded that Hungary is an important and valuable member of the North Atlantic Alliance. Viktor Orbán and Mark Rutte have agreed on continuing the intensive joint work – as per the press release by the prime minister’s press chief.
