In memory and honor of Fabriczy

The Embassy of Hungary in Washington D.C. held a panel discussion on November 26th in memory of Colonel Commandant Michael Fabriczy Kováts, the Hungarian hussar colonel of the American War of Independence.

Deputy Chief of Mission Pál Péter Schmitt welcomed the participants and highlighted the legacy of Michael Fabriczy Kováts as a powerful symbol of the shared values that unite Hungary and the United States. He also spoke about the importance of the Hungarian-American defence relationship and Hungary’s role in NATO.

Robert J. Riley, Foreign Policy Advisor to Chief of the National Guard at the Pentagon, Colonel Gábor Boldizsár, HUN LNO to NATO ACT and Brigadier General László Szegő, Hungarian military attaché in Washington D.C. have participated at the theme-oriented panel discussion.
