The GLADIATOR exercise series, and specifically its Hungarian phase, forms an important part of the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) mission framework; it serves both to prepare for the tasks planned for 2027 and to train newly assigned personnel.
DThe 2nd NATO Signal Battalion’s 4th Deployable Communications and Information Systems Module (DCM-D), originally stationed in Grazzanise, Italy, was welcomed by Major Anikó Pálma Kovács, commander of the Székesfehérvár-based Hungarian Defense Forces’ National Deployable Communications and Information Systems Module (DCM-E).
To ensure the successful execution of the exercise, the Hungarian Defence Forces’ 51st József Nagysándor Signal and Command Support Brigade is providing the necessary logistical support to the Hungarian and Italian DCMs. The coordination between the various national units serving under NATO command and the host nation support once again serves as a fine example of alliance cooperation.
