Text: Captain Jenő Fekete | Photo: Serbian Armed Forces |  12:27 July 15, 2025The Hungarian Defence Forces 4th Territorial Defence Regiment participated with a platoon at the three-week Exercise Platinum Wolf 2025 held in the training area of South Base, Bujanovac, Serbia.

The joint training offers a great opportunity for the staff officers, sub-unit commanders and sub-units of the nations to practice peacekeeping tasks in an international environment year by year, thus furthering Serbia’s participation in UN-led missions.
As for the Hungarian part, it also provides an outstanding opportunity to the reservist territorial defence infantry platoon for practicing peacekeeping tasks, which form an appropriate basis for involving the personnel in tasks on foreign missions.
The program of the event fit well into the force-level training of the reservists, who have gone through the basic training, as it greatly helped to weld them into sections and platoons.
Territorial defence reservists have participated in the wide-scale exercise since 2020, aiming at developing and enhancing cooperation and mutual understanding as part of the multinational battalion. Besides these, it is also a great opportunity for sharing the lessons learned among nations, as well as for learning about and practicing procedures during training.
