Hungarian soldiers have been providing "fire phobia" training — designed to overcome the fear of fire — for newcomers arriving in the operational area for many years. This time, the second infantry company of the 34th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent held a session for soldiers from North Macedonia of Regional Command-West, where Hungarian specialists demonstrated the necessary techniques step-by-step.

During the training, particular attention was paid to proper shield techniques to prevent injuries from splashing flammable liquids, as well as right foot-stomping, which serves both to extinguish flames and as a psychological weapon against a crowd.
By the end of the exercise, the elements in training had confidently mastered handling the threats posed by homemade Molotov cocktails, progressing from the individual level all the way to squad-level formations.
