During the first few days, the focus was on planning and preparations. Since then, the live exercise (LIVEX) has also begun.

Military officer cadets from the Ludovika University of Public Service Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training carry out their tasks independently under American leadership, while members of the professional staff of the HDF ‘Ludovika’ Battalion observe their activities.
Over the past few days, they have carried out, amongst other things, day and night tasks, driving and tactical manoeuvres, while constantly adapting to changing situations and the international environment.
Saber Junction offers a unique opportunity for the Hungarian military officer cadets to learn lessons in a realistic environment through international cooperation, and to put what they have learnt so far to the test independently.
