Senior NATO Commander visits KFOR’s Camp Novo Selo

Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples visited Camp Novo Selo to assess the security situation in Kosovo and discuss the camp’s infrastructure and development.

Major General Özkan Ulutaş, Commander of NATO’s mission in Kosovo (KFOR), welcomed Admiral George M. Wikoff, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Naples during his official visit to Kosovo. During his visit, Admiral Wikoff gave special focus on Camp Novo Selo, where he and senior members of the delegation were received by Camp Commander Lieutenant Colonel Tamás Robotka. The commanders discussed the camp’s development.

Furthermore, Admiral Wikoff received a comprehensive briefing on the current security situation in Kosovo and KFOR’s daily efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for all communities in the region. He also met with members KFOR personnel stationed at Camp Novo Selo.

The visit concluded with a helicopter flight along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL), providing Admiral Wikoff with a firsthand overview at KFOR’s presence and patrolling activities.
