More than 1000 troops from four nations are participating in Exercise Brave Warrior 2023. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the two-week event held on 21 May, Brigadier General Gábor Lőrincz, Commander, HDF Land Component Command welcomed the lined-up troops at Újmajor Base (Camp Croft).

French Ambassador to Hungary visits Debrecen

On 3 April, France’s ambassador to Hungary Claire Legras paid a visit to Károly Kratochvil Military Secondary School and Student Hostel in Debrecen, where, among others, she was received by MoD Deputy State Secretary for Human Resources Policy Dr. János Czermann.
Strengthening Hungarian–French relations

On Wednesday, 23 March a reception coupled with an award ceremony was held at the French ambassador’s residence in Budapest. Among others, MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy Dr. Gergely Németh was also among the recipients of the decorations. On Thursday, 24 March, Major General Zsolt Sándor, Deputy Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces received the French delegation on an official visit.
Letter of Intent reached

On Thursday, 18 November Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze visited the NATO Centre of Excellence for Military Medicine (NATO MILMED COE) to sign a Letter of Intent on cooperation which had previously been signed by NATO MILMED COE Director Brigadier General Dr. Dirk-Friedrich Klagges.
