NATO and the national quick reaction alert (QRA) service are on standby. This October, the European Union Force (EUFOR) and the Konjic-based Prenj Mountain Rescue Service concluded an agreement on providing assistance to each other in special rescue operations. At the signing of the agreement, the multinational force was represented by Major General László Sticz PhD, Commander, EUFOR Operation Althea, while the Bosnian side by Almir Mahmutovic, the president of the executive board of the volunteer rescue organization.
