British delegation visits HDF Transformation Command
Text: HDF Transformation Command | Photo: HDF TC |  14:21 July 19, 2022Heading a delegation of 40 experts, Brigadier Matthew Cansdale, British Army, Head of Future Force Development – Army Futures Department recently visited the HDF Transformation Command as part of the study trip Urban Griffin – Battlefield Study Budapest.
The participants exchanged experiences about current issues in concept development and modernization as well as force development and transformation, paying special attention to the influencing factors of the Russo–Ukrainian conflict.
The guests were received by Colonel Gábor Zoltán Bárány, Deputy Commander, HDF Transformation Command. During the round-table discussion, Lieutenant Colonel Károly Kiss represented the Hungarian Defence Forces Command Force Planning Directorate.
Both sides assessed the meeting as very successful; its conclusions and proposals serve force development in the British Armed Forces and the Hungarian Defence Forces alike.
