At the staff meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Péter Fazekas, Deputy Chief of Staff Support of the HDF EUFOR Contingent’s 29th rotation, held a celebratory speech. In what followed, Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, Chief of Staff of the EUFOR Headquarters, greeted the personnel serving with NATO and EUFOR missions, then recognitions were handed over.
As part of the program, Hungarian dishes were also prepared. In the late morning, Hungarian beef stew was boiling in the cauldrons, which was then consumed by the Hungarian peacekeepers in the Hungarian House. In the afternoon, they hosted servicemembers from other nations, including EUFOR Commander Major General Florin Barbu, offering them delicious Hungarian dishes.
