Today a fire phobia training conducted by the KTRBN (KFOR Tactical Reserve Battalion) at Camp Novo Selo for the 2nd maneuver company. Such trainings aim to maintain the high standards of reactivity and operational readiness required from all KFOR units. These efforts are part of KFOR’s daily mission to quarantee a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo.

The 64th International Military Pilgrimage officially began in the underground Basilica of St. Pius X, Lourdes, in the evening of Friday, 24 May. Since the opening ceremony, the members of the Hungarian delegation – among them, MoD State Secretary for the Control of Military National Security Zsolt Barthel-Rúzsa and General Gábor Böröndi PhD, Chief of the HDF General Staff – have walked down the Way of the Cross in Lourdes and attended a Hungarian-language Holy Mass and the concert of a military band.

On Friday, 8 December, MoD State Secretary for Defence Strategy and Human Resources Policy Gábor Gion and Deputy Chief of HDF General Staff Lieutenant General Ferenc Kajári paid a visit to the 29th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (KFOR-29 HUNCON) in Kosovo. In addressing the soldiers serving beyond Hungary’s borders, they said thanks to them on the occasion of the approaching holiday season and praised their steadfastness.
