Six Hungarian companies had the opportunity to introduce their products and services on the VEX stand to the visitors.
The 120-square meters stand accommodated various products of Hungarian defence industry. The VEX companies and their products attracted significant interest at the event: the G9HSP handgun fitted with striker or hammer as well as the G224LMG light machine gun of Gestamen Research & Development Ltd; the bullet trap device and modular range solutions of GHI Csendes; the low-muzzle-energy, non-lethal small arms of Atlas Network/Globserver that are suitable for crowd riot control purposes; the CBRN reconnaissance vehicles of Gamma Technical Corporation; the training system of GTS – Infinit Simulation which uses a personalized holistic tactical simulation environment based on advanced VR technology; the explosion-proof (ATEX) Pyrolater thermal camera of Medirlab, its Cyclops portable reconnaissance thermal camera as well as the TraffiCapture TC-108 instrument based on laser measurement technology, which is suitable for determining the speed of vehicles.
Several high-level military delegations – for example, from Brunei, Israel, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines – visited the VEX stand to learn about the products of Hungarian defence industry. Hungary’s ambassador to Singapore H. E. Judit Pach and the Israeli ambassador also honored the stand of the Hungarian Defence Export Agency with their visit.
The Hungarian Defence Export Agency continues assisting and supporting the export activities of Hungarian defence industry companies. Next time, it will introduce some of its partner enterprises at the Budapest Security Dialogue to be held in Budapest Mariott Hotel between 26 and 27 April. During the summer, it will provide the products of Hungarian defence industry with another opportunity to debut on another national stand before visitors coming from several continents at the international Defence and Security Exhibition Eusatory in Paris, between 16 and 22 June.
