The four-day course started on 10 February, co-organized by the Kalkar-based Luftwaffe Air Component Command (ACC) Air Command and Control Training Centre (AirC2 TC) – which has been accredited by NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) – and the branch section of the Air Operations and Training Directorate of the Hungarian Defence Forces Joint Operations Command (HDF JOC).
This basic joint air operations planning and command and control training course is equivalent to the one held in Kalkar, Germany. Its objective is to allow the participants to acquire the basic procedures of air operations and learn how they can contribute to the accomplishment of national and NATO tasks in accordance with NATO standards.
By completing the course, which develops operational skills, the participants will be able to contribute to the successful accomplishment of national tasks as well. Besides academic training, the practical simulations provide them with opportunities to apply and broaden their knowledge.
