At the official defence policy directors’ meeting, they agreed on handling migration and the security situation of the Sahel and Western African countries as priorities. Both countries urge the Euro-Atlantic integration of Western Balkans states and the immediate ending of the Russo-Ukrainian War. The parties introduced their armed forces development programs to each other at the meeting.

Michel Spinellis praised the work of the Hungarian staff officer deployed to the EUNAVFOR Operation Aspides defensive maritime security operation and the 14 Hungarian police officers in Frontex. The Greek party initiated cooperation between the newly established Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (HCDI) and the Hungarian Defence Innovation Research Institute (VIKI). The two directors emphasised that both Greece and Hungary are committed to fulfilling their obligations stemming from their EU and NATO memberships, and consider the further strengthening of bilateral relations within the alliances as highly important.
