Exercise Wise Foresight 2025 aims to deepen further cooperation among the soldiers of the two nations, to let them share operational lessons learned and practice peacekeeping and peace enforcement procedures together.
The battalion, established 27 years ago and operating according to NATO principles, does its tasks in turns, with regard to the venue. This year, the Hungarian and Romanian parties prepared for complex tactics. During the joint exercise, soldiers of the 2nd grenade battalion of the Hódmezővásárhely garrison and the Arad-based 191st Colonel Radu Golescu Infantry Battalion shared professional lessons learned with each other, while constantly developing communication and coordination.

On the professional day, the tactical demonstration was visited by Brigadier General Zsolt Molnár, Commander, HDF 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and Colonel Alin Florin Marian, Chief of Staff, 191st Colonel Radu Golescu Infantry Battalion, who both praised the soldiers’ preparedness and the efficiency of the exercise.
Exercise Wise Foresight 2025 not only develops military capabilities, but also contributes to further strengthening mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries; thus, the battalion can continue to effectively participate in international peacekeeping missions.
