Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said that the British royal family would use the horses for representational purposes. He emphasized that this increases the international reputation of Hungarian horse breeding. There have already been Hungarian horses in the royal British Army, but it is unprecedented that Hungary gifts horses specifically to the royal family, he said. He also added that the two – eight- and six-year-old – geldings were chosen from the stud of the State Stud Farm Szilvásvárad by the Master of the Horse and the royal head coachman of King Charles III early this year. Both horses received international-level carriage driving and under saddle training, so, they will be perfect for the representational purposes of the British royal court.
