Hungarian staff officer receives Alliance award

General Chris Badia, NATO’s Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation recently awarded a Certificate of Commendation to Lieutenant Colonel Ferenc Pásztor for his distinctive accomplishments.

On the occasion of the award ceremony, the Deputy Commander pointed out that as a staff officer working on NATO’s strategic and policy documents, Lieutenant Colonel Pásztor – as a representative of NATO’s Allied Command Transformation – was instrumental in supporting the NATO Military Strategy, NATO Military Synchronization and Linkages Process, and the CHODs Risk Assessment, and contributed to the mission success of the Headquarters Supreme Allied Command Transformation (HQ SACT).

Lieutenant Colonel Pásztor’s work was crucial in the design and development of a strategy game. Moreover, he also contributed extensively to the analytic work to deliver a qualitative analysis of risks and mitigations during the development of the documents.
