To the government of Hungary, the most important thing is the safety of Hungarian people, be there in any part of the world – said the minister, adding that altogether 29 people, including 18 Hungarians have been airlifted to Hungary aboard an Airbus A319 transport aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Also on board of the plane were some military medics so that they can immediately provide medical treatment if needed. The foreign nationals arriving in Budapest included Czech citizens and a pregnant woman of Slovak nationality.

Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky went on saying that the Hungarian troops serving with the UNIFIL mission in Southern Lebanon continue performing their duties on the spot.
