New German defence attaché pays introductory call
Text: Levente Petróczy | Photo: Warrant Officer Lajos Szabó | 08:55 September 7, 2023On Tuesday, 5 September General Dr. Gábor Böröndi, Chief of the HDF General Staff received, on an introductory call, General Staff Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Passbach, the new defence attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany to take office in Hungary.
The relationship between Hungary and Germany has a long history, so the Hungarian Defence Forces consider it especially important to maintain this dynamic and ramified relationship, and develop it further in the future.
During their closed-door discussion, Dr. Gábor Böröndi and Daniel Passbach talked about, among other things, the development of the Hungarian armed forces and the related training support.
Besides their close economic and cultural relations, defence cooperation between the two nations plays an increasingly important role in the relationship of Germany and Hungary year after year.
