The event was honored by the presence of Dr. László Dux, Ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo, Colonel Csaba Szabó, Senior National Representative of the Hungarian contingent, and Lieutenant Colonel Tamás Robotka, Commander of Camp Novo Selo.

In his holiday address, Lieutenant Colonel Botond Hetényi, Contingent Commander evaluated the personnel’s service, thanked them for their work so far, and wished them commitment and dedication for their upcoming tasks. He emphasized that the battalion in which they serve is a traditional unit whose roots extend far beyond the era of the heroes of 1848. He highlighted that they must stand their ground in the present and keep alive the spirit left behind for posterity by their predecessors.

This was followed by a blessing from Major Kornél Horváth, Military Chaplain, after which the contingent commander presented awards to the soldiers of the contingent.
