Promotions and Appointments on the Occasion of our National Holiday
Text: defence.hu | Photo: sandorpalota.hu | 16:05 March 13, 2024President of the Republic Dr. Tamás Sulyok promoted Major General Attila Géza Takács to lieutenant general, Brigadier General Zsuzsanna Ballainé Krikker and Brigadier General Dr. Pál Imre Váczi to major generals and Colonel Ottó Piros to brigadier general on the advice of Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky with effect from 15 March.
The officers received their promotions and appointments in the Sándor Palace in the presence of the head of state and the defence minister. The event was also attended by General Dr. Gábor Böröndi, Chief of HDF General Staff.
