Qatari Ambassador to Budapest Says Goodbye
Text: Ministry of Defence | Photo: Lajos Szabó | 13:30 October 9, 2025Dr. Zsolt Kutnyánszky, MoD State Secretary for Force Development and Defence Policy received Qatari Ambassador Abdulla Falah Abdulla Nasser Al-Dosari on a farewell visit in his office on 8 October. László Hajnik, MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy, was also present at the discussion with the head of mission who is to leave Hungary upon ending his service in Budapest.
It was mentioned at the meeting that Hungary’s political relations with Qatar are friendly and balanced, to which greatly contributed the diplomatic support of the outgoing ambassador.
Those present also agreed that bilateral defence cooperation between the two countries is constantly improving and the leaders of both countries are ready to act to further strengthen their relations. For this purpose, they plan to hold a top-level professional meeting, to make an inter-ministry defence agreement – which is currently in preparation – and to launch numerous military professional cooperation programs.
