The ambassador said that during his summer holiday, he volunteered in the town of Črna to assist with the disaster management work, during which he personally witnessed the Hungarian helicopters and observed their activity. The aircrews of the two H145M helicopters were helping with the disaster relief tasks by transporting non-perishable food, potable water, medicines, cleaning agents and disinfectants, power generators as well as fuel to the spot.

In his speech, Dr. Marjan Cencen repeatedly emphasized that they cannot be grateful enough for the selfless work of the personnel involved in the rescue operation and for their quick and professional assistance in flood relief.

At the meeting, Brigadier General Dr. József Koller, Acting Commander, HDF Air Force Command and Wing Commander Colonel Dr. Tamás Bali jointly showed the ambassador the helicopter involved in the rescue work.
