Starting on an International Exercise
Text: Lieutenant Tímea Csák | Photo: Sergeant First Class Zoltán Pintyi | 15:03 June 11, 2024Soldiers of the Hungarian Defence Forces 4th Territorial Defence Regiment have been preparing for the Platinum Wolf international exercise for the past two weeks with academic and practical training.
During the academic and practical training, soldiers attended signal training and basic peacekeeping training after forming sections. During the exercise, the Hungarian infantry platoon will carry out the guarding and protection, area closure, search and patrol tasks at the battalion’s forward base.
Territorial defence reservists have been participating in this large-scale multinational exercise, which is held in Serbia between 9 and 21 June this year, since 2020.
