“We feel sympathy for our friends in North Macedonia! The Hungarian Defence Forces are transporting to Hungary for treatment several further casualties of the weekend’s fire in North Macedonia. The HDF’s Airbus A319 transport aircraft is already on its way for the casualties, who will be taken to the Central Hospital of Northern Pest – Military Hospital in two turns for further treatment”, declared the defence minister.

As it is known, the Hungarian Defence Forces helped North Macedonia last August for the last time. Then, they participated in combating the wildfire raging in the south-western part of the Balkan country with two helicopters – an Airbus H225M and a Mi-17 rotorcraft – in response to the Skopje Government’s call for international help.
