Top performance and NATO-level cooperation

Our JTACs covered the full spectrum of modern fire support during an exercise conducted in the military training area and shooting range of Boletice, Czechia.
- Live fire exercise and special certification chain – our Hungarian JTAC candidate successfully completed a certification during a live fire exercise conducted on Boletice North shooting range. A Latvian JTAC evaluator carried out the evaluation, while he was being evaluated by a Hungarian JTAC evaluator in the background, which demonstrated the highest level of trust and standardization within NATO.
- Air assault operations: carrying out two complete air assault missions in Boletice South training area.
- Day and night dry terminal attack control: during the daytime task, the air strikes were coordinated with Joint Fires Observer (JFO) support.
- Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS): executing DACAS mission with the use of real-time targeting data from C4ISR systems through Variable Message Format (VMF) protocols.
- Multi-domain integration: besides artillery pieces, the simultaneous airspace and fire coordination of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and loitering munitions was also successfully accomplished.
