V4: Reliable Partnership

The meetings focused on reliable partnership, transparent dialogue, and the further strengthening of Hungarian–Polish defence cooperation. The discussions confirmed that cooperation within the Visegrád Four as an alliance can once again play an important and strong role.
Now in its 34th year, the trade fair has become one of Europe’s largest and fastest-growing defence industry events.
“It was a busy and productive day: we held open and candid discussions with several defence industry companies, and we also held talks with the Polish Armaments Director”, the Parliamentary State Secretary wrote on his social media page.
He highlighted that “discussions with our partners have once again reinforced our belief that we have something to build on. They are open to the new Hungary, greatly appreciate that our country has returned to Europe, and consider honest, straightforward dialogue important.”
“One thing is particularly important: V4 cooperation is back on track. In fact, it is playing an increasingly stronger and significant role within the European alliance system. We agreed with our Polish partners that it is worth further strengthening our defence ties, as this serves the mutual interests of our countries and our armed forces,” concluded László Kürtős in his post.
