Vietnamese delegation visits Ministry of Defence
Text: Balázs Trautmann | Photo: Gábor Nagy | 08:06 June 28, 2022On Monday, 27 June a delegation from the Ministry of National Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam paid a visit to the Balaton Street building of the Ministry of Defence in Budapest.
Headed by Deputy Defence Minister General Lê Huy Vịnh, the delegation was received by MoD State Secretary for Defence Policy and Development Dr. Gáspár Maróth and General (Retired) László Tömböl.
The two countries’ delegations discussed the Hungarian–Vietnamese military-to-military and defence economic relations. Dr. Gáspár Maróth emphasized that a number of substantial defence industry investments have been implemented in Hungary over the last three years, and based on them, we are ready to expand our cooperation with Vietnam in the field of defence industry.
