The crews of the 1st Grenadier Battalion’s 2nd company of the HDF 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade have recently been forged on combat-like live fire exercises (LFX). The company had to react to enemy targets with its own crews according to the tactical situation, both day and night.

Soldiers of the 3rd Company of the 1st Grenadier Battalion of the HDF 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade recently participated in an FN MK 3 Minimi light machine gun live fire exercise in Táborfalva. The purpose of the specialist group’s trade training is that soldiers, regardless of their position, learn about the main weapon of the section and its proper use.

Neighbours 2025: multinational cooperation

The Hungarian–Serbian joint training Exercise Neighbours 2025 closed with a spectacular tactical phase. During the one and a half week spent in the military training area “Psuljanke livade”, near Paraćin, Central Serbia, emphasis was placed on multinational cooperation and the organization of joint operations, familiarization with each other’s equipment, as well as the analysis of lessons learned earlier.

Another Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicle was recently delivered to the HDF 30th Mechanized Infantry Brigade. Increasing the soldiers’ safety and the combat effectiveness alike, this modern combat vehicle with high firepower is a determinant element in the development of the Hungarian military. The training necessary for operating the armored combat vehicle is going on continuously, which ensures professional operation of the vehicles received by the unit.
