Of the 25 best state universities in the United States, Texas A&M University is one of the country’s six Senior Military Colleges. In addition to its cadet corps of several thousand, professional soldiers from all services of the US armed forces come here for further training.

The university’s philosophy is guided by six core values that are put into practice: excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service.

What makes this Texas university truly special are its traditions, its lecturers with extensive practical experience, and the institution’s popular American football team.

After being awarded a Fulbright scholarship (a prestigious US academic and cultural exchange program open to Hungarian citizens, enabling them to pursue further studies in the United States), Major Pászthory, with the support of the Hungarian Defence Forces, completed a Master’s degree in national security and diplomacy, graduating with an excellent ‘A’ average.
