The head of state’s entourage included Defence Minister Dr. Tibor Benkő and Lieutenant General Dr. Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces, who also visited the Hungarian soldiers serving in a foreign mission during the holiday season.

After recognizing the work done by the personnel filling individual staff positions, the delegation greeted the members of the rotation in Camp Novo Selo.

Discussing challenges facing NATO in the Netherlands

The Northern Commanders’ Conference was held at NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Brunssum, the Netherlands between 6–8 December. Prior to the event, chiefs of defence of NATO member countries discussed current issues in security policy and epidemiology during a videoconference. At the meeting, Hungary was represented by Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces.
