After the 20 November session of the Defence Council, Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky gave a report in a video message on the situation created by the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. The minister said that “to prepare for all possibilities, I have ordered that the newly procured air surveillance and air defence assets and the capabilities built on them be fielded in the north-eastern part of Hungary”.

The Ukraine war can only be ended with diplomatic means

Moroccan-Hungarian Defence Policy Cooperation

László Hajnik, MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy, was on an official visit to Morocco between 11 and 13 November to open defence policy discussions and explore possible fields for military-to-military and defence industry cooperation. During the visit, he had a bilateral discussion with Saïfeddine Senouci, Director for Procurements and Financial Cooperation at the Ministry of Defence of Morocco, and Brigadier General Naoufal Raissouni, Head of the General Affairs Department at the National Administration of Defence.

Szolnok SAR soldiers train Bosnian mountain rescuers

This October, the European Union Force (EUFOR) and the Konjic-based Prenj Mountain Rescue Service concluded an agreement on providing assistance to each other in special rescue operations. At the signing of the agreement, the multinational force was represented by Major General László Sticz PhD, Commander, EUFOR Operation Althea, while the Bosnian side by Almir Mahmutovic, the president of the executive board of the volunteer rescue organization.
