The Powerful Word 2022 exercise was held between October 5-14 in the Czech Republic, in which the HDF Cyber and Information Operations Centre’s soldiers took part in. For the first time, this year the exercise was multinational, involving the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Hungary.

KFOR MISSION HAS NEW COMMANDER

In Kosovo, the Hungarian command year in the KFOR mission has come to an end. On Monday, 10th October, Major General Ferenc Kajári handed over the command of KFOR to Italian Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia in a ceremony at the Camp Film City, in Pristina.

Mr László Hajnik had a discussion with the security experts present at the conference with regional and global trends, and current challenges on its agenda. On Wednesday, 28 September the Rákóczi Alliance presented grants to first-former and school-preparatory class children in the Hungarian-speaking schools of Pecica (Pécska) and Peregu Mic (Kispereg) in Arad County, Romania. At the grant ceremony, MoD Parliamentary State Secretary and Deputy Defence Minister Tamás Vargha thanked the teachers and the parents for “preserving Hungarian identity” for the children.

New director takes the helm at MILMED COE
