Following the discussions in Budapest, on Monday, 27 June the deputy inspector general went to visit the HDF 5th Bocskai István Infantry Brigade in Debrecen.

Between 12–14 June, as a closing event of the Hungarian presidency of the Visegrád Cooperation, the event “V4 Innovation Challenge Day – Military Autonomous Systems” focusing on the challenges for autonomous driving was held at the Innovation Center of the University of Debrecen. Built by the Czech, Hungarian and Slovak teams, the electrically powered vehicles with autonomous self-driving capability demonstrated their capacities and speed in covering specific distances and executing tasks on a speedway and an obstacle course.
