Commander of Hungarian Defence Forces attends military parade in ParisText: Hungarian Defence Forces Command | 09:05 July 15, 2022
On 14 July, Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi PhD, the commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces attended the military parade organized to mark Bastille Day in Paris. He was received by French Chief of Defence General Thierry Burkhard.
During their meeting, the chiefs of defence from the countries of the Eastern Shield and the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) took stock of the decisions taken at NATO’s Madrid Summit and discussed the tasks arising from them.
The agenda of the Paris meeting also included the Russo-Ukrainian War and the joint Hungarian–French engagement.
