A delegation from the Advanced Leadership Training Course of the Islamabad National Defence University recently paid a visit to Hungary. Headed by Air Force Commander Aamir Munir, in the morning of 8 June, the delegation visited the Ministry of Defence as a guest of the MoD Department for International Cooperation and the HDF Department for Defence Policy. Lieutenant General Zsolt Sándor, Deputy Commander, Hungarian Defence Forces welcomed the Pakistani delegation.
The Pakistani delegation was informed about Hungary’s security and defence policy, the structure and functioning of the defence portfolio, as well as the operational activities of the Hungarian Defence Forces and their development.
After the presentations, the program continued at the National University of Public Service, where the members of the delegation saw a permanent exhibition on the history of the Ludovika Academy, attended a presentation on the functioning of the university and the advanced military leadership training program, and met several Hungarian senior officers pursuing their studies in that specialization.
