Lieutenant Colonel Zoltán Vörös and fellow members of the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) visited a 100-year-old resident of Choratan while conducting patrol duties in the area. The mission representatives were first received at the Mayor’s Office, where they held discussions with local officials about an EUMA initiative aimed at visiting Armenian citizens aged 100 and over living in the Tavush region.

Accompanied by the mayor, the patrol subsequently visited the elderly woman at her home. She explained that she had worked as an accountant throughout her life and attributed her longevity to hard work, clean rural air and a healthy diet. According to her family, she remains mentally alert, regularly follows the news and takes a keen interest in current affairs. She does not take any medication and only uses vitamins recommended by her doctor. At the end of the visit, the patrol members presented her with a small gift and posed for a commemorative photograph with her.
