For this reason – immediately after their arrival in Bosnia and Herzegovina in early March – the personnel of the Hungarian maneuver company assigned to the EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN) started preparing for the Full Operational Capability (FOC) Evaluation Exercise. In this preparatory period, the Hungarian soldiers had to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and cohesion they had acquired during their pre-deployment training in Hungary and their mission integration training by executing special tasks such as operating checkpoints, fielding observation posts, Crowd Riot Control (CRC), patrolling and close protection tasks, VIP escort and evacuation, convoy operations and Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT). The Hungarian maneuver company successfully completed the evaluation exercise, which was also observed by EUFOR Commander (COMEUFOR) Major General Dr. László Sticz.
