In recognition of their high-level, professional performance and exemplary ability to cope with challenges, the soldiers of the 28th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent were presented KFOR leadership awards.

In July, Lance Corporal János Varga was selected as Soldier of the Month of the Balkan mission, who, in addition to his outstanding perseverance and service, also proved his preparation and ability at numerous sports events.

In addition, Brigadier General John Bozicevic, the US Chief of Staff of KFOR, awarded Lieutenant Valentin Szabó, Lieutenant István Tremmel, Lieutenant Márk Oszlánszki, and Staff Sergeant Imre Molnár with a gift and a coin as a token of his respect and recognition. The Brigadier General emphasized that these servicemen can serve as an extraordinary example to all the soldiers of KFOR and he is very proud to have served with such soldiers.
