The agreement, valid until the end of 2028, provides for the deployability of the Leopard 2 main battle tanks, the PzH 2000 artillery system, the Leguan bridge-layers and the Wisent armoured recovery vehicles through maintenance at Leopard Hungary MRO in Gödöllő.

The maintenance agreement also covers the operation of the simulation centre.

“This agreement not only guarantees the service for the Hungarian Defence Forces, but it also reflects the long-standing and very confidential partnership. Also, it creates a basis for Leopard Hungary MRO offering this same service to other NATO member states as well in the future”, said Co-Managing Directors Hubert Dassinger and Márton Kertész.
