Many-sided Hungarian–Serbian cooperation

The deputy state secretary was received by his counterpart Predrag Bandic, Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy at the Serbian Ministry of Defence.
The two delegations held an official meeting to discuss current and prioritized issues of bilateral defence cooperation, as well as the main challenges and aspects of the regional and global security environments.
The Hungarian and Serbian defence policy directors also agreed that both sides are interested in taking the bilateral defence and military cooperation to the strategic level. The bilateral relations that are currently at their historical peak, the intensive and many-sided cooperation and the regular strategic-level dialogue provide an excellent basis for taking cooperation to an even higher level.
During his official visit, Deputy State Secretary László Hajnik was received on a courtesy call by Nemanja Starovic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia. While discussing the regional security situation at the meeting, the deputy state secretary emphasized that Hungary continues to stand on the side of peace, we condemn all acts of violence, and maintain our outstanding regional role in operations along these principles.
