Meeting of Italian–Hungarian Defence Policy Directors in Budapest

During the official program in Hungary, Deputy Minister Tamás Vargha, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, received the Italian Defence Policy Director and his delegation on a courtesy call.
Maintaining exceptionally high-quality Italian–Hungarian bilateral military and defence relations is our common interest. Therefore during the official discussion, the parties talked about the main aspects of the cooperation, the distinguished events of the near future and the practical possibilities for developing the cooperation.
The discussion was a great opportunity for the parties to give their professional opinion on the main regional and global defence policy challenges of our time in detail. The Italian and Hungarian defence policy directors emphasized in agreement that they are firmly committed to further developing the bilateral cooperation.
