Signing Italian-Hungarian Roadmap for Cooperation

The main agenda items of the meeting included the EU’s military support to Ukraine, the establishment of the EU’s rapid reaction capability and the strategic review of the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO).
On the margin of the plenary session, he had a bilateral discussion with his counterparts, including Rear Admiral Giacinto Sciandra, Defence Policy Director of the Italian Ministry of Defence.
For the better structurization of the Italian-Hungarian military relations, the Italian and Hungarian ministries of defence developed a roadmap for cooperation – which the parties signed at the end of the meeting – based on the declaration of intent signed by the ministers in 2022.
