He said, the program may change slightly due to the pandemic situation, but the vaccination level in Hungary allows for the organisation of a safest event. “We are preparing to demonstrate visitors that the Ministry of Defence and the Hungarian Defence Forces spend usefully the resources allocated for the Defence and Armed Forces Development Program, we use the resources wisely, and are on the right way to creating a modern Hungarian Defence Forces,” said the head of the ministry.

Major General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces, pointed out that one of the main goals of the Air Show and Military Display was to show the public that although the Hungarian service members have recently spent a lot of time on crisis management due to the pandemic, they did not neglect their fundamental responsibilities. Simultaneously with the press meeting, the official website of the event repulonap2021.hu became accessible, which provides the potential visitors with detailed information on the programs and registration options.
