During the meeting in Szentendre, Ambassador Ms. Legras not only learnt about the workings of the military organization, but also spoke about the possibility of future cooperation with the unit of the same capability in the French armed forces.
Colonel Péter Balogh, Commander, HDF CIOC introduced Ambassador Legras to the structure, workings and capabilities of the Centre. Following the detailed presentation, the French diplomat learnt about the target areas and methods of the ongoing education in the training rooms, and last but not least, had the opportunity to personally see a relic, the Enigma cypher device that is the worthy pride of the Centre.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation between the cyber defence centres representing an identical capability in the French and the Hungarian armed forces, which is also facilitated by the fact that the Hungarian capability is structured almost along the same lines as the French one. Beyond the mutual sharing of lessons learned, this may provide opportunities for joint training sessions in the future as well.
