“In my pre-agenda speech delivered to the National Asssemby, I talked about the planning, the objective and the lessons learned of the joint Exercise Adaptive Hussars 23, the largest-scale military maneuvers in the last 30 years”, wrote the Minister of Defence.
In answering the MPs’ contributions, Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky said that he is proud of the fact that “the entire Hungarian military has moved” during the largest-scale exercise of the last 30 years. He emphasized that the objective of Adaptive Hussars 23 was to let us “face the reality” by involving the full spectrum, that is, the movement of 6000 troops.
Both the armed forces and the civil support and public administration organs assisting us have passed the test with flying colors – said the Minister of Defence, noting that a legislative proposal is being prepared for making amendments at several points, in the interest of guaranteeing the security of the Hungarian people.
