In the early morning hours of 27 April, an A319 military transport aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces landed on the base of the HDF 101st Aviation Wing in Kecskemét, carrying on board 32 Hungarian and foreign citizens evacuated from civil war-stricken Sudan. The passengers of the plane were received by Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, MoD Cabinet Chief Zsolt Barthel-Rúzsa and Lieutenant General Zsolt Sándor, Deputy Chief of General Staff, Hungarian Defence Forces.
