Collective airspace, collective responsibility – Gripens in NATO formation

Exercise Ramstein Flag 2025 is more than a simple training – it is a spectacular demonstration of NATO’s collective will, flexibility and air deterrence posture. Just like during land exercises, the participants have a collective objective in the air as well, to be attained through international cooperation – emphasized General Dr. Gábor Böröndi, Chief of the HDF Defence Staff at Skrydstrup Air Base, Denmark, where he paid a visit to learn about the multinational live-fly tactical-level exercise and the tasks of the Hungarian personnel participating in it.

In the midst of current security challenges, it is vital that Hungary be able to conduct air policing and defend its airspace efficiently and in an integrated way. Comprehensive Logistic System Exercise

Under the name Adaptive Logisticians 2025, the Hungarian Defence Forces recently held a two-week logistic command post exercise encompassing all levels of command and affecting all military organizations. Led by the HDF Defence Staff Logistic Directorate, logisticians of the Hungarian armed forces and the NATO organizations stationed in Hungary were already rehearsing for the upcoming Exercise Adaptive Hussars 2025, one of the most important training events in this year.
